Cathay Pacific
Cathay Pacific is a premium international airline headquartered in Hong Kong and a long-standing pioneer in sustainable aviation. In 2014, Cathay Pacific became the first airline to invest in technology producing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) from municipal waste, and in 2022 it launched Asia's first major Corporate SAF Programme, enabling corporate and cargo customers to support the scale-up of SAF across the region. The airline has committed to using SAF for 10% of Cathay Pacific Airways' jet fuel consumption by 2030 and to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Cathay Pacific also co-initiated the Hong Kong Sustainable Aviation Fuel Coalition (HKSAFC), a multi-stakeholder group driving SAF policy development and adoption in Hong Kong.

The eFuel Alliance is an interest group working for the political and social acceptance of eFuels and for their approval. We represent more than 170 companies, associations and consumer organizations along the eFuel production value chain. We stand for fair competition and a level playing field for all relevant emission reduction solutions. We are clearly committed to greater climate protection and want to see the significant contribution of eFuels to sustainability and climate protection more widely recognised. Our goal is to enable the industrial production and widespread use of CO₂-neutral fuels from renewable energy sources.
