Attendee FAQ

Cordis, Hong Kong | 21 – 22 September 2026

SAF China brings together senior stakeholders from across the aviation and energy value chain — airlines, airports, fuel producers, technology providers, policymakers, banks and investors. Please read the information below before you travel, and get in touch if you have any further questions.

Event Schedule & Access

  • 08:00 on Monday 21 September, ahead of the opening keynotes at 09:00
  • 07:30 on Tuesday 22 September, ahead of the Day 2 keynotes at 09:00

The registration desk is located within the conference floor at Cordis, Hong Kong and remains staffed throughout both days.

  • Your unique QR code is issued within the event app ahead of the congress
  • On arrival at Cordis, Hong Kong, scan the QR code at one of the registration kiosks at the registration desk to print your name badge
  • If you cannot access your QR code, you can type your name into a registration kiosk to print your badge
  • Badges must be worn at all times to access the conference rooms and networking areas

  • Day 1, Monday 21 September: registration and coffee from 08:00. The welcome address and opening keynotes begin at 09:00 sharp, with government officials from the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, and Official Airline Partner Cathay. Day 1 closes at 17:20.
  • Day 2, Tuesday 22 September: registration and coffee from 07:30. The welcome address and opening remarks begin at 09:00. The congress closes at 17:20.

Session times are subject to change. The most up-to-date agenda is always the one held within the event app.

  • The networking zone opens alongside registration — 08:00 on Monday 21 September and 07:30 on Tuesday 22 September
  • It remains open throughout both conference days, and hosts the technology showcase and the 1-2-1 meeting zone
  • Structured 1-2-1 networking sessions and extended networking lunches are built into the agenda on both days
  • Speed networking takes place at 10:45 on Day 1 — 30 meetings, one minute each. Bring your business cards

In total, the programme includes 12 hours of dedicated networking across the two days.

In line with our commitment to sustainability, we do not print the agenda or an on-site brochure.

Presentations are available within the event app. We will also email you a link to the presentations at the end of each conference day.

Venue & Accommodation

SAF China takes place at Cordis, Hong Kong.

Cordis, Hong Kong is a five-star hotel in Mongkok, directly connected to Langham Place shopping mall and Mongkok MTR station. The congress uses the hotel's ballroom and function room floors, including The Star Room — Kowloon's highest ballroom.

A limited number of rooms are held at Cordis, Hong Kong for SAF China delegates. Booking details and the delegate rate are shared by email ahead of the congress.

By MTR
  • Take the MTR to Mongkok Station and leave via Exit C3 — a two to three minute walk to the hotel entrance on Shanghai Street
  • The hotel is also directly connected to Langham Place shopping mall, which links underground to the station
From Hong Kong International Airport
  • Airport Express: travel to Hong Kong Station, then transfer to the MTR Tsuen Wan Line for Mongkok Station. Alight at Kowloon Station instead if you prefer a short taxi transfer
  • Taxi: approximately 35 – 40 minutes to the venue, depending on traffic
  • Airport bus: the A21 serves Mong Kok and takes approximately 45 – 60 minutes
  • Hotel transfer: Cordis, Hong Kong operates a chargeable limousine and shuttle service, bookable directly with the hotel
From the Chinese Mainland
  • High-speed rail services arrive at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, around 10 minutes by taxi or two MTR stops from the venue
  • Cross-boundary coach services from Shenzhen, Guangzhou and the wider Greater Bay Area stop within Kowloon

Cordis, Hong Kong offers on-site valet and self parking, with additional public parking available at the adjoining Langham Place car park. Charges apply and spaces cannot be reserved in advance.

Given the venue's direct MTR connection, we recommend travelling by public transport where possible.
